Description of the research topic:

The PhD student will analyse the relationship of computer-aided map editing/mapping to GIScience technology from different perspectives (structure of the geospatial database, visualisation/analysis possibilities, output). The research topic will be clarified and narrowed down in the first part of the PhD education.
