Description of the research topic:
The transient dayside magnetospheric phenomena such as hot flow anomalies (HFA), spontaneous HFAs (SHFS), foreshock bubbles (FB), foreshock cavities, foreshock cavitons, or the reconnection in the magnetosphere have an important role in the solar wind-terrestrial magnetosphere interaction. These events show up much frequently as it was expected before during quiet solar wind conditions. These terrestrial HFAs and FBs should be analyzed and compared to similar events at another object in the Solar System.
