Description of the research topic:

"The reproductive cycle in females is associated with significant sleep-wakefulness changes, However, the neurobiological background of which is poorly understood. Combined electrophysiological, behavioural and chemogenetic methods are used to investigate the background of these changes and the role of sleep regulatory systems underlying these changes.
