Description of the research topic:
Integrating intermittent electricity generation as smoothly and efficiently as possible will play an important role in the transition to renewable energy sources. The current state of the science is that hydrogen will play an important role in this process, not only in its production but also in its use, raising important questions of spatiality and temporality. These will be addressed in this call for proposals. For the PhD-research work, basic knowledge of GIS and software-based energy planning are important requirements, but these knowledges can also be acquired during the doctoral studies.
