Description of the research topic:

Development of novel enzyme-catalysed kinetic resolution methods for the preparation of pharmacologically and chemically important enantiomeric compounds, such as amino acids, amino esters, lactams, amids through enantioselective ring cleavage of the corresponding racemic lactams, enantioselective hydrolysis of amino carboxylic esters, amidation of acids.
