Description of the research topic:

"Supplementing navigation methods based on sparse optical flow and image feature tracking with procedures using semantic segmentation and 3D stylized environmental models. Vehicle-in-the-Loop test environments for drones:
In the case of VIL, the vehicle under test (drone) moves in real space, but its sensors receive input from a simulated environment, which enables real dynamic testing of experimental systems in a safe test location, while the simulator generates an application situation for the system."
