Description of the research topic:

A detailed comparative study of ceramics and other artefacts made of clay from archaeological cultures, mainly from several sites in Hungary, as well as of clayey sediments from the surroundings of the sites as potential raw materials, and of potential sources of raw materials for the temper grains, using petrological, geochemical and mineralogical methods. A detailed analysis of the raw materials used and the technology of ceramics production and a comparison of the results with the results of analyses on ceramics from other cultures.
