Description of the research topic:

Previous research has shown that the language and reading skills of children with reading difficulties can be improved through music training methods. However, it is not known through what cognitive processes music can help to develop reading skills. The primary goal of the research topic is to develop and validate new music training methods and to investigate their impact using multimodal measurement methods. The topic allows the applicants to engage in a longitudinal study in which we explore the effects of special music training methods.
