Description of the research topic:

"Toxic behaviors are aggressive behaviors in online multiplayer video games which put the individual and the teamwork at disadvantage (e.g., cheating, aiding the enemy). These behaviors deteriorate players’ gaming experience, and can be associated with negative mental health and behavioral consequences in affected players. The proposal involves the exploration of motivational background of aggressive behaviors among players, studying the differences and similarities between toxicity and cyberbullying, and investigating mental health and social behaviors of affected players.
