Description of the research topic:
The topic focuses on documentary in the context of art and experimental documentaries it provides a framework for analysing and experimenting with the boundaries of video art and documentary, with cross-over solutions e.g. integrating animation, questioning the boundaries of documentarism and fictionality, experimenting with filmnarratology. The topic also invites the question of the role of documentaries of socially or politically questions of art.
