Description of the research topic:

Herbal products and products containing isolated active compounds of medicinal plants are very popular nowadays. They can be used for treatment of several diseases, mostly they have less side effects compared to the synthetic medicines, and sometimes the combination of herbal and synthetic compounds provides therapeutic benefit. The aim of the research work is to prove the efficacy of some traditional herbal medicines and combination of herbal compounds and synthetic drugs with chemical, pharmacological or clinical studies.
