Description of the research topic:
The candidate will be responsible for comparing and analysing the behaviour of larval stage, juvenile and adult paradisefish and zebrafish, investigating the possible molecular and neurobiological basis of the differences and creating the genetic tools needed to perform this work. By the end of the training, the participating PhD student will have gained practical experience with a very broad set of behavioural genetics practices.
Required language skills: English Further requirements: familiarity with basic molecular biology skills, potential previous experience with behavioral analysis, strong statistical background, basic proficiency in R/Python programming
