Description of the research topic:

Telepresence is when we use technical equipment to achieve the psychological feeling of being “there” in a remote environment. Although minor hardware modifications may become necessary, the sensors and actuators required for telepresence system are basically available, so the task is to create the IT related parts.

Aim of the research:
The aim is to realize a cognitive infocommunication channel that not simply transmits signals between the master and the slave devices without change them. The goal is to develop a new cognitive form of man -machine interaction based on the plasticity of brain, which is able to expand and transform the information received by our senses. This paves the way for the design of simpler and cheaper telepresence tools. The price of this is that our brains also need to be used with the “Brain in the loop” technique. We look for solutions when we subconsciously transform one type of information into another type with the help of our brain. To do this, new cognitive infocommunication channels need to be explored; The effectiveness of cognitive infocommunication channels from the point of view of informatics must be compared with scientific aspects in order for an effective system to be realized.
