Description of the research topic:
The aim of this research is to develop one- and two-dimensional liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-MS) coupled analytical methods for the detection and quantification of drugs, designer drugs, metabolites and endogenous substances (lipids, small molecules) in biological samples (blood, urine, plant extracts etc.). The student will gain comprehensive practice from sample preparation through one- and two-dimensional LC-MS analysis to bioinformatics evaluation of raw data.
