Description of the research topic:

Most plasma surface cleaning and surface modification techniques are accomplished in closed chambers and under controlled atmospheres. In contrast this research programme is aiming at finding new and/or novel niches for the much less frequently used open-air plasma treatments also in view of some possible industrial applications. Practical experience of the candidate in developing laboratory equipments is an advantage.
