Description of the research topic:
The aim of this research is to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of the COVID infection, the changes in the dynamics of the disease, and to identify risk factors, as well as prognostic and predictive markers, which may influence the choice of therapeutic treatment and could predict the need of switching. During our work, we retrospectively analyze the patient data available at the University of Debrecen Infectology Clinic, by performing various epidemiological and statistical calculations. Overall, the results of our study could help us to better understand the factors that influence the therapy of COVID infection, so it could provide better therapeutic decision-making in the event of an epidemic wave that may develops in the future.
