Description of the research topic:
The aim of this research work is to understand the importance of the topic. Investigation of the typologies of historical building materials is required. Determine the main damage factors (environmental and human) e.g. environmental damage factors: aqueous dissolution, acidic rain, salt crystallization, frost damage, microbiological growth etc. and human factors: original design, fire, air pollution.
The modelling of the environmental and human factor effects an economic consideration is required, the factors of a time dependent damage model, and constructional of a modelling. In order to demonstrate the final conclusion it would be very useful to collect case studies in Jordan and in Hungary.
