Description of the research topic:
Legal dogmatics (Doctrinal study of law): History and perspectives of dogmatics of law; fundamental problems of dogmatics of law; instruments of dogmatics of law; inference, justification and argumentation in questions of law; justification and argumentation in questions of fact.
Law and logics: Theory of logics; history and systems of logics; main concepts and operations of classical logic; deviant systems of logics; legal logic – law and logic.
Law and language: Linguistics and philosophy of language; linguistic dimension of law; language use in legal procedures; speech acts in law; legal concepts; questions of legal semiotics; legal language as technical language.
Theory of law: History of political and legal thought; theoretical and practical philosophical foundation of law; perspectives of theories of law; analytical jurisprudence; substantive theories of law; institutional theories of law; critical legal studies.
The clarification of the topic will be concluded according to the research plan discussed by the applicants and supervisors.
