Description of the research topic:

Syllabus
A complex system consists of many components and there is a lot of dynamic interaction between them. Their common features are the self-organization, appearance of (fractal) structures, and emergent behavior. Due to the large number of components and the nonlinear interactions, the behavior of the full system cannot be predicted based on the properties of the components. These systems have important role in our everyday life (e.g. human society, the Internet, traffic systems, etc.), that is why their study is essential. During the research, the tools of computer modeling and simulation (e.g. agent-based modeling, molecular dynamic simulation, etc.) are used to analyze the systems following the international scientific research trends.
