Description of the research topic:

Description of the research topic
We perform the dynamic modelling and simulation of alternative (mainly electric and pneumatic) driven vehicles and power trains in MATLAB environment. We also develop a procedure based on the simulation program to determine the optimal technical parameters of the vehicle for a given dynamic purpose. The measurement of the technical and dynamic characteristic of the vehicle and power train is also part of the topic. For this purpose we are going to develop a measurement set-up and a procedure and compare the measurement and simulation results. On the basis of the results recommendations are given to the designers and constructors of the vehicles.
