Syllabus
The research topic offers a number of possibilities for analysis: for example the historical changes of the printed and electronic publications, their current role in the process of the information flow, the importance of the digitization in information transmission, in preserving and leaving the cultural inheritance to future generation; the presence and future of the e-books and e-journals. Concerning each research issue the comparative investigation of the international and national practice can be conducted. The utilization of the electronic publications in various fields (research, education, jurisdiction, economic life, environmental protection, media etc.) can be analysed as well. In several cases surveys and interviews can be carried out.
