Description of the research topic:
Morphogenetic (forms, processes) and geoecological analyses of karsts in different regions. Soil, water and biota have crucial role in landscape evolution, their investigation is an important task in basic research and practical applications as well. The theoretical basis of the work is the structural and functional analysis of the karstecological system. This forms the base of the investigation of land use patterns and land use changes, with special regard to environmental degradation.
