Abbreviation of location of studies: ÓE

Description of the research topic:

The rank revealing methods of Linear Algebra is an important theme of the research for big dimensional problems, like Generalized randomized QR decomposition that may be applied to arbitrary products of matrices and their inverses without needing to explicitly compute the products or inverses. It was proven that the randomized Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is effective at computing low rank approximations to matrices and so on.
The ABS (Abaffy, Broyden,Spedicato) class contains all the well-known methods known in the literature like the QR factorization and the SVD and others.
It would be interesting to know whether rank revealing methods can be incorporated into ABS and what are their efficiency.
