Description of the research topic:

Today economic, political, and constitutional challenges deeply effect the context and the way of how constitutional courts are functioning.
For this reason it is of upmost importance to assess these challenges and the answers given to them in a scientific manner. One focus lies on the classical models of constitutionalism. Beside that special attention will be paid to the pecularities of the Central European region.
The goal of the research to pinpoint the specialties of the Central European constitutionalism and determine the causes of their divergences from mainstream constitutionalism.
