Description of the research topic:

Mission, tasks and structure of the defense system in Hungary. Military and civil defence. Control over the defense management - central (government) level, county and district level, local (settlement) level. Role of the defense committees in county and district level. The system of the home defence in Hungary - mission and tasks of the Home Defense Council (in war time), of the Government, of the minister of defense in peace time, crisis situation and war time. Structure and mission of the Hungarian Defense Forces (HDF). Cooperation betwen the HDF and the law enforcement organisations in disaster management and in extraordinary situations (special law).
