Description of the research topic:

As the population is continuously growing, and it is expected to grow by about 3.1 billion people between 2020 and 2100. According to the latest estimates, 9.2 percent of the world population (or slightly more than 700 million people) were exposed to severe levels of food insecurity in 2018, implying reductions in the quantity of food consumed to the extent that they have possibly experienced hunger. Food safety and the environment sustainability(climate change, water scarcity, lack of arable land, increasing population etc, which is related to food production) are the urgent topic for every one and each food production enterprise. The precision agriculture is the win-win and optimal measurement to environmental and social economics. Precision agriculture originated from end of last century, while its development in some big agricultural countries with huge population such as China is just in the beginning. Precision agriculture plays an significant role in reducing input, reducing costs, reducing environmental pollution, controlling agricultural products, standardizing and batching, facilitating processing, and exporting. How to develop precision agriculture solution in this above mentioned counties and evaluate the economic aspects of the precision agriculture in this featured countries can be an interesting and practical use research. And comparing the development or the difference on implementing precision agriculture between western and eastern countries is also useful for the food production and environment sustainability.
