Description of the research topic:

The entitlement marks the framework of the possible topics of the doctoral theses within the large field of research of the history of the early modern political philosophy. Especially, the topics of the interpretations of the classics of the social contract theories, and their connections with the Catholic, and Protestant political theologies are preferred. Topics concerning the regional features of the early modern political thought, especially in East-Central Europe, are welcome.
