Description of the research topic:
The title „Modern, post-modern and contemporary”’ has three aspects. The first two ones are theoretical, the third one is rather historical. 1) Theoretico-historic reflexions on the periodization, from the first appearence of the concept „modern” to the „PostConteporary” of today; 2) Theoretical inquiery into the variations of progress, conservativism and development etc. 3) Critical inquiery of art history phenomena, mostly in the 19th–21st centuries.
