Description of the research topic:

Transzcendental arguments argue for a propozition in such a way that they show that the truth of the proposition in question is a condition of the truth of another proposition about which we know or may suppose its truth. Among those arguments, there are some that are very unique. They attempt to show that the proposition in question can be true/can be taken as true only if its negation is true as well. These arguments are called retorzive, peritrope, or Epicurean arguments sometimes. One may investigate either the general issues that are related to these arguments or any particular instances of them that can be found in the analytic literature. For instance, one can analyse the transcendental argument against moral and epistemic relativism, epistemic externalism, nihilism, determinism, scekticism. Moreover, the topic of the dissertation may be the transcendental argument(s) against the denial of the self, external world, principle of non-contradiction, and so on.
