Description of the research topic:
The aim of the project is to develop a physicalist account of physical theories and scientific knowledge in general. The topic is at the borderline of naturalized epistemology, operationalism, and the physico-formalist approach to logic and mathematics. The research can be focused both either on particular case studies, first of all in the field of physics, or on wider issues in general philosophy of science.
