Description of the research topic:

There is a very important changement in the theory&history of interpretation: it can be now equally applied to pictures and texts. In this challenging alteration the phaenomenological-hermeneutical direction plays a very characteristic role. It brings a new mode of explication to the text or picture. It is a very new way of reading artworks.
