Any topic may be chosen from the history of analytic philosophy. Particular emphasis is placed on early analytic philosophy, e.g. Russell, Moore and Wittgenstein; on the Vienna Circle and Logical Empiricism, e.g. the views Schlick, Carnap, Neurath, Reichenbach, Hempel, the origins of logical positivism in German and Austrian philosophy and its historical and sociological background; Ryle; Sellars.
