Description of the research topic:

As the 2007-09 financial crisis has shown, financial decisions of economic agents and the functioning of the whole financial infrastructure has a profound effect on real economic outcomes. I accept doctoral students in various topics in financial economics, especially (but not exclusively) in the following areas: (i) the effects of financial frictions; (ii) financial networks; (iii) the effects of bounded rationality in financial markets.
