Description of the research topic:
With the increased availability of all types economic data there is increased demand for econometricians who can meaningfully analyze these data sets and use them to answer pertinent policy questions. I accept doctoral students in various topics in econometrics, especially (but not exclusively) in the following areas: (i) prediction of binary outcomes; (ii) identification and estimation of treatment effects (program evaluation); (iii) forecasting and prediction markets; (iv) nonparametric methods.
