Description of the research topic:
After the fall of communist dictatorships at least a partial dismantlement of such socialist legal systems became necessary. A first research area could be the post-socialist property settlement, namely how the consequences of communist nationalisation were treated from a comparative law perspective in the post-socialist states. Another potential area for research is privatisation and the status of state ownership at the end of privatisation process. Third, the post-socialist regulation of corporations (companies) and the dynamics of this field is a proposed research filed: the foundations of the new company law and the adjustments or corrections necessary to keep this set of legislation in concordance with social realities.
