Description of the research topic:
The gastrointestinal motility disorders affect many people, which may be caused by organ and psychological factors. However, reliable methods for motility detection are not available. During the last years we have developed a method by which the gastrointestinal signals can be measured and identified even in awakened rats. In this research activity the alteration of electromyographic signals are investigated in stress conditions and disorders. The responses to different drugs are also measured.
