Description of the research topic:

The importance of the interplay between cancer cells and stromal cells was shown to be an important factor of cancer survival, metastasis and therapeutical response in few cancer types (colon cancer, breast cancer and PDAC). With the development of co-culture system we map intercellular signaling pathways and mediators. With co-culture system we study therapeutical response in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
