Description of the research topic:

Syllabus
Video has an interesting classification problem, because there are temporal and also spatial features. In the case of video, this interesting features can be used to solve several very important tasks.
Video surveillance has received many attention over the last years and one of the major research topic in computer vision. For example: abnormal event detection in videos, traffic and traffic sign recognition, video surveillance system for elderly people, etc.
