Description of the research topic:

Evaluation and statistical modelling of the climate modification effect of the settlement environment by exploring links between the intensity of modification effects and the elements of the immediate and wider environment. Comparative analysis of the climatic effects of typical (micro and local scale) urban environments and determining the optimal options regarding the human comfort and energy consumption. Designation and potential application of climate optimum guidelines and metrics in urban planning.
