Description of the research topic:

In a classical approach uncertainty is measured with entropy. The two most important entropies are Shannon and Rényi entropy. New types of entropies need to be introduced for different continuous-valued logic systems. The subject of the research is to find a relation between the uncertainty of the input variables and the uncertainty of the logical expression. In practice such estimations are of great importance even in the neural network studies.
