Description of the research topic:

Analysis of population’s active leisure time sporting habits or fan’s sports consumption characteristics, their related expenditures and identification of the determinants (e.g. differences by gender, age, social status, education, sports socialization history, the impact of sports supply side’s characteristics etc.). All of this can be examined in relation to a municipality, a specific leisure sports service provider, a sports facility or a professional sports team – the selected sports organizations can be involved into the study, as they can get to know their own consumers better.
