Description of the research topic:

Literary redefinitions of the (post)human subject's place in the world. Fantasies that challenge anthropocentric epistemology and redraw the boundaries between the human, the animal, the technological, the natural environment, and the "inanimate" object world. Critical animal-, plant-, thing- studies. Intersections of posthumanist philosophy and literary theories of the fantastic narrative mode. Connections of humanist and posthumanist agendas.
