A kutatás során a doktorandusz a brit felvilágosodás alábbi aspektusait kutathatja: a brit felvilágosodás historiográfiája és ezzel kapcsolatos tudományos viták; 18. századi vallási jelenségek és teológiai viták; felvilágosodás és ellenfelvilágosodás, disenchantment és re-enchantment a felvilágosodás korában.
