Description of the research topic:

The research field contains the study of modality, including necessity, obligation, optativity, probability and imperative meaning. The connection between modality and aspectuality is also analyzed. Considering that the research methodology background is that of functional grammal, we focus on multilevel analyis (morphological, word formational and syntactical level). The research topic gives opportunity to carry out comparative analysis involving Russian, Hungarian and English languages.
