Description of the research topic:

Language teaching has been focussing on communication in the foreign language, which necessarily implies pragmatics, whose concern is language use, in the development of the methodology of foreign language teaching. The topic area includes, among others, the language user and learner as well as communication within and outside of the classroom and issues regarding teaching materials.
