Description of the research topic:
Here those research topics are welcomed which have special focus on the distinctive features and key (past and current) regional development processes in major East Asian economies (primarily focusing on China, Japan, or South Korea).
The research topic should focus here on the mechanisms of regional development, or on the theoretical basis, rules and aspects of regional policy in the abovementioned countries. On the other hand, those research topics are welcomed which dwell on the characteristics of existing policy tools, planning design, key actors (local and regional governments and institutions), management and financing, or evaluate their evolution in these East Asian countries.
Required language skills: Hungarian or English Recommended language skills (in Hungarian): Hungarian or English Further requirements: Completion of „Asian Regional Development Policy” subject is suggested.
