Description of the research topic:

There is a widespread and broadening literature on the entrepreneurial turn of universities. In the era of knowledge-based society and economy, there is a variety of ways for universities to contribute to the development of a region. Beyond teaching, also research and direct involvement in social and economic development come to the front. Promising research areas in this field – among others – are:
- university spin-offs
- university patenting
- development of university-based entrepreneurial ecosystem.
