Description of the research topic:

The topic covers the analysis of the most important economic cycles over the last hundred years. It grants an opportunity to analyse the European economic and social processes; to reveal the causes of the modernization processes, and to present the results of the innovations. The assay of the Hungarian adaptation and convergence attempts could also be relevant, as well as the explanation of their long-term consequences.
