Abbreviation of location of studies: BME

Description of the research topic:

The chemical analysis is much supported by statistics. Understanding both sides (that is analytical chemistry and mathematical statistics) is important for method development and for validation, therefore the prospective candidate should have good background in both fields. The main method is variance component analysis. Having obtained the results quality characteristic of product units is calculated. The aim of the research work is to widen the application of statistical tools (such tolerance intervals, ANOVA etc.) in analytical chemistry, ecotoxicology, including the development of this method for other fields as well.
