Abbreviation of location of studies: PTE

Description of the research topic:

Palladium-catalysed aminocarbonylation can efficiently be used for the acylation of primary and secondary amines possessing more complicated structures. In other words, the above amines are used as N-nucleophiles in aminocarbonylation of simple iodoalkenes and iodoaromatics. In this way, aminosteroids and further polycyclic aminoterpenes, as well as alkaloids are planned to be used. According to previous studies, the formation of carboxamides and 2-ketocarboxamides are expected.
The application of environmentally benign conditions (carbon monoxide-free reactions, alternative solvents) will be studied.
